Job Description
CubeMatch is looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Data Quality & Remediation Lead to drive and enhance the Bank’s Finance Data Quality and Remediation Strategy. This senior role involves close collaboration with Finance Leadership, peer delivery teams, and cross-bank functions — particularly the Group Data Office — to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide data goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in data governance, high-impact delivery leadership, and enterprise IT, with a strong background in data management technologies and stakeholder engagement. The role will also involve leading a distributed team (Ireland and international locations) to deliver consistently high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Work directly with Finance Leadership and senior stakeholders to communicate goals, risks, and progress with transparency and clarity.
* Lead a cross-functional data delivery team (5–10 FTEs), promoting collaboration and predictable, high-quality output in an Agile working environment.
* Build and maintain effective relationships across peer delivery teams, ensuring consistency and alignment across data initiatives.
* Own and maintain the underlying delivery roadmap, ensuring strategic milestones are met and tracked effectively.
* Facilitate regular engagement with key internal partners to ensure the team remains responsive to evolving regulatory and business needs.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the Bank's finance data landscape and drive initiatives to remediate data quality issues..
Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
* 15+ years of experience in enterprise IT projects, with significant exposure to data management, remediation, and governance at scale.
* Proven experience in leading data strategy and remediation programs, preferably in the financial services sector.
* Strong understanding of data technologies including databases, SQL, ETL tools, and data quality frameworks.
* Deep knowledge of enterprise data ecosystems and data governance principles.
* Experience working in Agile environments and leading distributed teams.
* Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to translate complex technical topics into business-relevant language.
