Job Opportunity: Supporting Adults with Disabilities
The role of a Support Worker is to provide assistance to individuals with severe/profound intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting.
* Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
* Support individuals with complex needs, including those with physical or learning disabilities.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, comprising healthcare professionals, therapists, and social workers.
* Offer emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their independence and resilience.
Requirements
* Hold a recognised qualification at QQI Level 5 or equivalent.
* possess a minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar environment.
* Have knowledge of adults/children with complex needs.
* Be in possession of a full Irish/EU driving license.
* Hold full working rights in Ireland (no sponsorship available).
