A UK-headquartered international organisation is seeking a senior finance leader to take ownership of
Group Finance, Reporting and Controls
.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will provide oversight across
group consolidation, statutory reporting, accounting policy, and tax governance
, leading a multi-location team.
The Opportunity
This is a high-profile role at the heart of the finance function — ensuring the accuracy, integrity and transparency of group reporting while driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and controls.
You'll act as a key liaison to the CFO, Audit Committee, and external auditors, playing a vital part in shaping the organisation's global finance infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of
group reporting and consolidation
, ensuring high-quality and timely financial outputs.
Oversee
accounting policy, technical compliance, and statutory reporting
across multiple jurisdictions under IFRS and local GAAP.
Manage global audit processes and relationships with external advisors and auditors.
Drive process and systems improvement initiatives, enhancing accuracy, control, and efficiency.
Lead on
corporate and indirect tax compliance
, including transfer pricing and governance oversight.
Partner with commercial finance, treasury and wider leadership to support expansion and structural projects.
Develop and mentor a
multi-regional team
, embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA / CA or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experience in
group or external reporting
.
Strong technical grounding in
IFRS
, group consolidation and audit management.
Proven experience within a
complex, multi-entity or international business
.
Demonstrated leadership capability — building teams, implementing structure and improving control environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including exposure to senior executive and Board-level discussions.
