Responsibilities
Lead and coach your team to deliver the best shopping trip for customers by ensuring great service, standards and availability.
Deliver all key performance indicators for your department.
Make daily decisions that support your team to do their jobs.
Ensure colleagues receive quality training, are validated to do their job and have up‑to‑date training cards.
Maintain processes, routines and systems accurately and on time.
Plan seasonal, trade driving and promotional activities to maximize sales, impact and presentation.
Ensure safe and legal routines are in place to address any identified issues.
Help colleagues understand what and how, set objectives, conduct regular reviews, career discussions and keep a live PDP.
Provide regular coaching and feedback across the store, improving team skills.
Encourage behaviour improvements and confidence in calling out issues.
Create an environment that encourages innovation and personal growth.
Model a culture where customers love to shop and colleagues love to work.

Key responsibilities
Always put the customer first and consider them in everything you do.
Get to know your customers and serve them with pride.
Help to ensure products and services are available for customers at all times.
Handle all products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach the customer in the best condition.
Keep the shop floor and back areas clean and tidy at all times.
Apply the training you receive, following department routines and processes.
Follow all company policies and adhere to Health and Safety routines.
Whilst you will have a core role, you may be asked to support colleagues by helping in other departments.
Qualifications & Experience
Must have previous management experience.
Track record of:
Being passionate about delivering the right way for customers and colleagues.
Being adaptable and agile in your thinking.
Delivering key objectives in a fast‑paced environment.
Being the "Go To" person for all queries within your department.
Shaping and influencing at the most senior level.
Previous retail experience preferred.
