They have been established in Dublin for many years and have teams based in the US and EMEA (with a legal team in both jurisdications).The Ireland-based GC is now keen to hire an experienced Technology Counsel to join their EMEA Legal team for a 12-month fixed-term contract.25-30 hours per week (flexibility around start and finish times)This is a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment and play a key role in supporting sophisticated SaaS technology transactions and product development initiatives.You will work with high-level enterprise clients and contribute directly to the company's legal and compliance strategies.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate complex SaaS agreements across the EMEA region to facilitate business objectives.Provide strategic legal guidance during the product development lifecycle, with a focus on advising on data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.Monitor and interpret global and regional regulatory trends, ensuring proactive adherence to evolving legal requirements, particularly in AI, privacy, and security.Serve as the primary legal contact for the EMEA Sales and Customer Success teams, while also supporting other global regions as required.Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal operations, including the development of playbooks, templates, and training materials.Qualifications:Experience: 8–10 years PQE gained in-house at a global technology company or within a commercial private practice team specializing in technology.Skills: Demonstrable negotiation and influencing skills, combined with a collaborative and business-oriented mindset.Essential:You must live in IrelandYou must be available to attend the Dublin office in person at least 2-3 days per week at very start of the contract (remote option thereafter)Start date: September / October 2025Technology (Saas) contracts experiencePlease get in touch if you'd like to discuss.Contact Sarah Kelly, Partner, The Panel
