Job Role
The Senior Practitioner will play a pivotal role in fostering supportive relationships with foster carers, utilising a trauma-informed approach to enhance their practice.
* Provide consistent support and supervision to foster families, ensuring adherence to national standards and agency policies.
* Contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive foster care training programme.
* Monitor and review carer competence, guaranteeing high-quality foster placements that meet the diverse needs of children and young people.
The ideal candidate will possess 3 years post-qualification experience in Child and Family Social Work, along with a strong understanding of IT systems. They must also hold relevant qualifications, such as NQSW or CQSW, and be registered with the necessary authorities.
Social Work Practice:
* Support the development of a trauma-informed therapeutic model of practice, ensuring the delivery of a professional, supportive, and high-quality service.
* Actively participate as a member of the Origins Team, contributing to the growth and development of skills and knowledge.
* Engage in regular professional supervision, in accordance with agency policies.
Person Specification:

This is a remote working opportunity that requires flexibility, including occasional evening/weekend work. The successful candidate will be willing to travel nationwide and have access to a vehicle.
