Inventory Management Specialist
As an experienced professional in inventory management, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day order management and progression of stock through the supply chain. This position requires strong communication skills to effectively liaise with senior management and suppliers at all levels.
Main Responsibilities:
• Recognize quality and process improvement opportunities and assist in their implementation
• Manage stock orders and guarantee their successful delivery
• Process orders to suppliers and ensure receipt of order confirmations
• Provide and oversee stock reports to ensure transparency on product and equipment availability
• Maintain stock depth within budget targets
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivered orders and outstanding checks
Liaison and Communication:
• Collaborate with management and suppliers to nurture relationships
• Communicate effectively with bond operations for compliance with system demands
• Serve as key point of contact for Bond Operations, ensuring adherence to company procedures
• Develop clear plans for De-List management, coordinating with procurement and communicating with suppliers
Requirements:
• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing preferred
• Strong understanding of WMS and ERP systems
• IT savvy, fluent English communicator
• Stock management expertise, including Stock Keeping Units
• Competence in producing analytical reports and statistical data analysis
