Job Title: Nursing Unit Lead
Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit, ensuring high standards of patient care and aligning care with best practices and policies. They will also manage staff, including supervising and supporting nurses, conducting performance reviews, and developing staff training programs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the nursing unit to maintain high standards of care.
* Coordinate care to ensure it meets regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
* Monitor and review care plans to ensure they meet resident needs.
* Supervise and support nursing staff, including conducting performance reviews and managing staff development.
* Manage staff rosters and allocate staff based on clinical needs and available resources.
* Maintain clear communication with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
* Curent NMBI Registration
* Previous management/supervisory experience
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Team player
* Genuine interest in working with older adults
