Our client, a fast-growing SaaS company in the cybersecurity space, is looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer to join their team.
They specialise in automating Microsoft 365 security and compliance for IT teams and managed service providers – helping to detect, prevent, and respond to threats more effectively.
What you'll do
Build, maintain, and optimise Node.js backend services.
Design and deliver secure, scalable APIs and integrations.
Collaborate with frontend and product teams to launch new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Integrate APIs with third-party applications.
What we're looking for
3+ years' experience building backend applications in Node.js.
Solid experience with AWS.
Background in working with databases (DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar).
Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and RESTful APIs.
Comfortable working independently and communicating in a remote setup.
Bonus skills
TypeScript experience.
AWS CDK / infrastructure-as-code.
Some frontend exposure (Angular).
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure / Microsoft 365 APIs.
Strong grasp of cloud security best practices.
