Area Sales Manager - Donegal. Champion sales growth for a market-leading FMCG brand. Drive growth across van sales and distributor operations in the Donegal region, ensuring customers experience outstanding service and product availability every day.
What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver Sales Success: Hit quarterly and annual sales goals by strengthening existing relationships, developing new business, and ensuring unbeatable after-sales service.
* Control Returns: Maintain returns within target levels through smart depot oversight and product management.
* Own the Numbers: Keep stock reconciliations tight, accurate, and fully accountable—from depot to delivery.
* Lead the Team: Build, schedule, and lead a high-performing regional sales team. Manage rotas, cover leave, and drive team motivation.
* Recruit and Train: Oversee hiring and onboarding of new team members to ensure top-quality staffing at all times.
* Fleet Oversight: Ensure all company vehicles in your region are well maintained and all procedures (including accident reporting) are followed precisely.
* Report with Clarity: Provide regular, accurate updates to senior management on sales trends, operational performance, and any issues impacting the region.
What You'll Bring
* Proven Sales Leadership: At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within an FMCG or fast-paced field sales environment.
* Commercial Acumen: You understand the numbers, the strategy, and the customer.
* Strong Communication: Clear, confident, and collaborative.
* Planning Skills: You know how to prioritise and structure your week for results.
* Team Focused: Able to motivate and support others while owning your responsibilities.
* Licence Required: Full clean Irish or EU driving licence.
