Job Overview:
The Water Plant Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the provision of treatment services within a region, ensuring safe operation and maintenance of assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage field-based teams to ensure compliance with customer service standards.
* Oversee technical issues and service risks through provision of technical analysis and local knowledge of assets.
* Support capital programs to facilitate investment processes and identify areas for improvement.
* Coordinate activities to ensure operational considerations are captured in proposals and strategic planning is supported.
Leadership:
Lead, support, and develop Water Treatment Operations and Maintenance & Repair teams to ensure safe operation and maintenance of water assets.
Oversight of team coordination to ensure effective use of resources, monitoring key performance indicators.
Set and review objectives, managing performance of direct reports to achieve business goals.
Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures, legislation, practices, PPE, training required under Construction Regulations.
Provide coaching and development opportunities to help team members achieve full potential and deliver business objectives.
Other Duties:
Participate in out-of-hours standby working as required.
Provide emergency cover as required.
Support engagement with regulatory stakeholders as required.
Deliver health and safety commitments across the organization and its supply chain.
