We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Professional to join our team and deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze building defects, collect information and measurements to provide recommendations for optimal maintenance
2. Conduct thorough site inspections and write detailed reports on findings
3. Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to ensure smooth project execution
4. Manage projects including overseeing specialists and sub-consultants to ensure timely completion
5. Prepare designs and specifications at various stages of project development
6. Report on progress and quality of third-party building works and recommend improvements
7. Prepare condition records and schedules of dilapidations to facilitate informed decision making
8. Conduct Reinstatement Cost Assessments to determine costs associated with potential property damage
9. Provide expert advice on historic property preservation and conservation
10. Supervise building maintenance activities and prepare maintenance schedules to optimize resource allocation
11. Monitor development projects and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
12. Manage health and safety compliance as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) and ensure a safe working environment
13. Understand building mechanical and electrical systems to effectively maintain and repair them
Requirements include minimum two years post-qualification experience, Chartered Building Surveyor membership and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage instructions and maintain client relationships is essential. This role offers flexible working hours and a hybrid working model.
