Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Junior / Intern Application Support Engineer to join our technology team supporting the development and maintenance of GGL's global logistics visibility and monitoring applications.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants to gain hands-on experience in application support, project coordination, and system testing within a dynamic, security-focused technology environment.
Working closely with the Senior Developers and CTO, you will assist in coordinating technical tasks, troubleshooting platform issues, testing new features, and supporting integration projects across CCTV, alarm, GPS, and IoT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
· Support the day-to-day operation and monitoring of applications and systems.
· Assist with incident triage, troubleshooting, and escalation of technical issues.
· Coordinate with development and operations teams to track tasks and project milestones.
· Participate in testing, validation, and release preparation for new features and updates.
· Assist in creating and maintaining user guides, FAQs, and knowledge-base articles.
· Support API integrations, data validation, and performance checks across multiple systems.
· Provide internal feedback on usability, system behaviour, and performance improvements.
· Maintain compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, and confidentiality policies.
What We Look For in You:
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
· Strong interest in application support, system administration, or project coordination.
· Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and web technologies (e.g., SQL, JavaScript).
· Analytical mindset with good problem-solving and documentation skills.
· Excellent communication and organisational abilities with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively within technical and operational teams.
· A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn from real-world projects in a high-availability environment.
