Overview:
The Process Mapping Lead will serve as the expert in process analysis, visualization, and optimization for Project JET, supporting the creation of comprehensive current and future state process maps.
This role requires the ability to effectively Lead and facilitate workshops with cross-functional multi-location SMEs of varying size groups, for process mapping using proven methodology to elicit the best quality result.
Must have previous experience creating Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping and Data Mapping.
It requires proficiency in Visio, Signavio, Business Optix, and other tools to develop detailed Value Stream Maps and Process Maps at various levels and scope.
The Process Mapping Lead will coordinate with SMEs across to conduct workshops, capture process details, and support the harmonization of processes across sites.
The Process Mapping Lead will create a SIPOC for all process maps and create an end state SIPOC, all risks will be documented in the Current and Future State Process with mitigations documented.
This role is critical in translating process maps into user requirements with the Business Analyst, supporting future state harmonization, and enabling lean and streamlined manufacturing operations.
Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
Process Mapping & Workshop Facilitation
Lead the planning, organization, and facilitation of process mapping workshops with SMEs from all relevant functions including Planning, Operations, and Quality.
Use tools such as Visio, Signavio, and Business Optix to capture as-is (current state) and to-be (future state) process maps.
Develop comprehensive Value Stream Maps and detailed Process Maps across multiple levels, aligned with strategic and operational goals.
Create Data Maps illustrating key data flows within the JJVC Make ecosystem, supporting information transparency and system integration.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement
Collaborate with the entire Project JET team to ensure process maps accurately reflect current workflows and future optimization opportunities.
Engage with SMEs, Business Analysts, and stakeholders, and other functions to gather insights, validate process details, and drive continuous improvement.
Support the alignment of process maps across sites to enable harmonization, reduce variability, and ensure best practices are adopted.
Translation into Business & User Requirements
Partner with Business Analysts to translate detailed process maps into clear, comprehensive user requirements (URs) that support system development, automation, and future process execution.
Support future state process design and ensure process maps serve as a foundation for process standardization and lean initiatives.
Future State Process Harmonization & Optimization
Drive the development of harmonized future state processes that enable streamlined, standardized, and scalable manufacturing operations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying potential process bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement within the maps.
Documentation & Process Governance
Maintain accurate, version-controlled process documentation and maps.
Support governance reviews to ensure process maps and documentation meet operational, compliance, and audit standards.
