Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to support project delivery on-site in Ballydine, Tipperary. The role is suited to a degree-qualified engineer or an experienced technician with a strong background in construction or engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the receipt, distribution, and control of drawings and technical documentation required for project execution
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with issued drawings, specifications, and technical information
* Support the preparation and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
* Coordinate and participate in field walks with project stakeholders
* Assist with snagging activities, ensuring defects are identified, recorded, and closed out in a timely manner
* Support the handover process, including preparation of documentation and verification of completed works
* Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and project management to ensure smooth workflow and communication
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Requirements
* Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) OR
Significant relevant experience as a technician in a similar field-based role
* Strong understanding of construction/engineering documentation and processes
* Experience with ITPs, snagging, and project handovers is desirable
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and document control systems
Desirable
* Previous experience in a regulated or industrial environment (e.g., pharma, manufacturing)
* Familiarity with quality assurance processes and site inspections
