An established private hospital in Ireland is seeking a highly motivated
General Medicine Registrar
to join its General Medicine Department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic clinician to enhance their expertise while working in a collaborative, consultant-led environment with a wide range of medical cases.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality clinical care to patients under the guidance of experienced consultants
Conduct patient assessments, including initial diagnosis, investigations, and treatment plans
Participate in daily ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings
Contribute to on-call and weekend rotas as required
Support the development of junior medical staff and contribute to educational activities
Collaborate with other specialties and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
Full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the
Irish Medical Council (IMC)
Minimum of
2 years' experience in General Medicine
(or a relevant specialty)
Strong clinical acumen and a patient-focused approach to care
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Desirable
Experience in an Irish or UK healthcare setting
Interest in teaching and academic research is an advantage, but not essential
