Reperio has partnered with a leading consultancy that is seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to join its expanding Application Innovation practice.
This role is central to delivering large-scale IT solutions, bridging business requirements with technical delivery, and ensuring client goals are met. You'll work closely with stakeholders and development teams to design solutions, manage backlogs, and oversee delivery in Agile environments.
Responsibilities:
1. Gather and define business and technical requirements through workshops and stakeholder engagement.
2. Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
3. Manage and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
4. Partner with development teams to ensure solutions meet requirements.
5. Support QA teams in validating deliverables against specifications.
6. Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
7. Report on progress, risks, and issues across projects.
Requirements:
8. 4 + years' experience as Product Owner, Systems Analyst, or Business Analyst on large IT projects.
9. Strong knowledge of Agile methods and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, backlog grooming).
10. Proven ability to run stakeholder workshops and manage requirements at scale.
11. Technical grounding with SQL proficiency and exposure to reporting tools (Power BI desirable).
12. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
13. Degree in Technology, Business, or related field.
