Student Village Office Administrator
We are currently recruiting for the role of Office Administrator for Clarion Village, one of our Student Accommodation sites in Sligo. Clarion Village provides for student accommodation during the academic year, September to May, and short-term/holiday lettings during the summer months.
The role on offer is a full time, permanent contract; typical office hours apply, Monday to Friday, though there will be an occasional requirement to weekend hours during peak business periods.
Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Administration office with a strong focus on excellent Customer Service and adhering to operating procedures.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Answer incoming calls, action emails, manage voicemail and post
* First point of contact for queries / complaints handling, for students their parents, and summer guests
* First point of contact for landlords' queries
* Academic Bookings – addressing student queries and assisting with cancellations processing and re-selling
* Summer Season – managing summer bookings and allocations
* Payments – monitoring payments received for both academic summer, and pursuing arrears when required
* Carry out periodic property inspections, including student year-end inspections
* Liaise with contractors re: reported maintenance issues
* Security Report Management, setting up meetings and managing disciplinary paperwork, dealing with students over minor infractions
* Maintain a clean and organised office area
The ideal candidate will have:
* A property / hospitality background.
* Proven track record in customer service
* Good communication, written and interpersonal skills
* Computer literate with excellent analytical skills.
* The ability to multi-task, prioritise and think on your feet
* A proactive and organised individual
