Support Worker Job Description
Nua Healthcare Services is a leading provider of residential and supported living services in Ireland. We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Support Workers.
The successful candidate will provide care to people who avail of our service, supporting them with their daily plans, education, skills development, and achieving personal outcomes. The role involves shift work over 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly motivated and creative, with a passion for engaging with Service Users on a daily basis. You will also need to hold a Full Driver's Licence or be in the process of achieving one.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting people with their daily plans
* Providing support whilst in the community
* Assisting with education, skills development, and achieving personal outcomes
Skills and Qualifications:
No qualification is required for Assistant Support Worker positions, but Social Care Workers must hold a Level 7/8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare or a related discipline and be registered with CORU.
