Role
We are currently recruiting for a kind, reliable, full-time "Activities Leader". This role requires someone with previous experience working in a nursing home within an activities team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive environment whilst working with an experienced team of Healthcare Professionals in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities
* Supporting the nursing staff in providing high quality holistic care
* Ensuring the activity calendar is planned in advance
* Execution of the activity plan in an efficient manner
* Providing a broad range of activities to cater for all needs including both group and individual activities
* Taking a collaborative approach to activity planning; listening to residents, staff and family
* Reporting any changes in resident's condition to the trained nurse
* When escorting or transferring residents to aid their participation in activities, employ manual handling best practice and take direction from the Nursing staff
Qualifications & Skills
* Practical experience in a caring capacity desired
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Professional, caring and empathetic nature
* Be comfortable working in sometimes challenging environments
* Minimum of 1 year experience in this role
* Have a good level of English language skills
* Good communication skills
* Availability to work varied shift patterns days, across Monday to Sunday
