Financial Crime Advisory ManagerJob Description

Purpose of the role

To ensure that the institution's activities are conducted inpliance with applicable financial crime laws and regulations, and to help the bank manage legal and reputational risks associated with its activities.

Accountabilities
1. Development and implementation of best practice legal strategies for risk management andpliance.
2. Legal advice and support to the business on financial crime laws, regulations, and rules, including anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption (ABC) laws and regulations.
3. Support other legal teams in representation, of the bank in legal proceedings that raise financial crime issues, such as litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations.
4. Advising on financial crimepliance policies and procedures including to assesspliance with applicable laws and regulations.
5. Legal research and analysis to stay up to date on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the bank's financial crimepliance practices.
6. To supportpliance, contributing to and delivering training to educate employees on legal and regulatory requirements related to financial crime.
7. Pro-active identification,munication, and provision of legal advice on applicable laws, rules and regulations (LRRs). Keeping up to date with regards to changes to LRRs in the relevant coverage area. Ensuring that LRRs are effectively allocated to, and adequately reflected within, the relevant policies, standards and controls.

8. To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.

11. OR for an individual contributor, they will lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation toplete assignments. They will identify new directions for assignments and/ or projects, identifying abination of cross functional methodologies or practices to meet required oues.
12. Consult onplex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
13. Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control andernance agenda.
14. Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
15. Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
16. Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
17. Engage inplex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams,panies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.

Join us as a Financial Crime Advisory Manager within our Operations department, partnering closely with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure effective financial crime controls are in place and aligned with regulatory expectations. You'll be responsible for maintaining local financial crime management control frameworks and overseeing outsourced financial crime services to ensure alignment with regulatory standards. This role is key to meeting the expectations of the Central Bank of Ireland and supporting the needs of our European clients with integrity and operational excellence.

To be successful as a Financial Crime Advisory Manager, you should have experience with:
19. Proven understanding & experience of the regulatory landscape for financial services, particularly as it relates to outsourcing and Financial Crime.
20. Good understanding of how the various functions of a licenced payment institution or similar business operates (Finance, Product, Sales, Risk,pliance, Outsourcing, Operational Rigour and Audit).
21. Advanced stakeholder management capability.
22. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
23. Exceptional verbal and writtenmunication skills including the ability to present to leadership and Board Directors
Some other highly valued skills may include:
24. Understanding of the payment/card acceptance and card issuing industry.
25. Broad business and industry knowledge/experience.
This role is based in Dublin.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internalpany benchmarks. Job ID JR-0000057972
