Overview
As an Mergers & Aquision(M&A) Operations Manager for our Irish buisness, you will lead the operational integration of acquired insurance businesses, ensuring alignment with Gallagher's corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.
You will oversee day-to-day operational performance, drive efficiency, and support business transformation initiatives to ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our growth and operational excellence.
This role will be based from our Dublin office and you will be expected to travel to 8 other offices across Ireland. We offer hybrid working and we will be expecting someone to be in the office two to three days a week.
How You'll Make An Impact
* Lead the operational integration of acquired insurance businesses, ensuring alignment with Gallagher's corporate strategy and compliance with regulatory requirements.#
* Oversee day-to-day operational performance across policy administration, claims, and customer service functions.
* Drive operational efficiency and process improvements, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.
* Support the development and implementation of operational strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
* Monitor integration KPIs, including operational efficiency, cost synergies, and service continuity.
* Manage change and cultural alignment, supporting staff transitions and communication plans.
* Support business transformation initiatives, including digitalisation, automation, and system upgrades.
* Optimise systems integration, including policy administration platforms, claims systems, and data migration, minimising disruption to business operations.
* Monitor and report on KPIs, including service levels, operational costs, and regulatory compliance metrics.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, coaching teams and embedding best practices across the organisation.
About You
* Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
* A proven track record of leading operational integrations and delivering process improvements.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Fantastic analytical skills and the ability to monitor and interpret KPIs effectively.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage change and foster cultural alignment.
* Experience with digitalisation, automation, and systems integration is highly desirable.
* A proactive and results-driven approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Ability to travel across 8 different sites across Ireland.
