Accountant Trainee Position

* Prepare financial statements and perform audits;
* Compile management accounts and other management reporting and bookkeeping;
* Prepare corporation Tax, VAT, RCT and Income Tax returns;
* Prepare and process Payroll;
* Manage client Company Secretarial requirements;
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards;
* Participate in the performance of audits and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence;
* Work under the supervision of senior staff members and provide support as required;
* Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing with external clients, always aiming to deliver customer service excellence;
* Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence;
* Represent the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude;
* Deliver the Xeinadin vision and values.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who have achieved at least a 2.1 in accountancy or a business-related degree. They should have obtained 420+ points at Leaving Cert level (or equivalent). The ideal candidate will be motivated and able to work both as part of a team and independently. They should possess strong communication and English language skills.
