Dubarry has over 100 employees internationally with offices in Ireland, UK, Netherlands, and the USA.The RoleThe role of the Accounts Assistant is to ensure the efficient management and control of all administration activities within Dubarry of Ireland and is responsible for controlling the daily activities of the DIR office in relation to Banks, Debtors and Creditors.Duties and Responsibilities:Update daily bank reports and bank reconciliation.Manage and control creditors accounts ensuring that all invoices are paid in accordance with the company terms and conditions.Month-end reporting including review of general ledger and variance analysis.Preparation of accruals and prepayments for month-end.Entering journals in General Ledger.Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and reporting monthly on actual performance against budgets.Liaising with international branches.Arranging Electronic payments, Letters of Credits & Bills of Exchange.General administration as arising in the organisation.Processing Credit Card expenses.Reconciling the till takings form our 5 stores and reconciliation of Web sales.Filing intrastat and vies returns in line with Revenue guidelines.Assisting in the preparation of Irish and Vat ReturnsTo undertake any other task that may be deemed necessary from time to time in the fulfilment of your role.Ensure that all information is treated as confidential.RequirementsExperience working in an Accounts/Similar role an advantage but not essentialExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood IT SkillsAbility to commute to Ballinasloe
