Senior Restaurant Server Opportunity at the 4* Court Yard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare
The Court Yard Hotel is part of the Moriarty Group, which is an Irish owned company, involved in both the retail grocery and hotel industries. The company owns three large Super Valu Stores in Balbriggan, Skerries and Palmerstown and two 4* hotels, the Courtyard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and the Bracken Court Hotel in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. The company currently employs 550 staff.
The team at the 4* Court Yard Hotel are seeking to recruit experienced Restaurant Servers to join our professional food service team. If you have the relevant experience and are passionate about the hospitality industry and would like to develop your career within a busy 4* property, we could have an excellent opportunity for you.
The Role:
We have both full-time & part-time/flexi roles available.
Main Duties:
1. Work in conjunction with the restaurant team on the day-to-day operations of the restaurant/functions dept.
2. General restaurant service duties.
3. General food service duties.
4. HACCP duties.
5. Meet and greet all guests to the restaurant/function.
6. Provide excellent customer care to our guests at all times.
7. Help out in all other areas of the hotel when required - in particular bar dept.
Requirements:
1. Must have at least 2+ years’ experience in a restaurant/food service role (this experience is essential).
2. Must be fluent in the English Language both written and spoken.
3. Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.
4. Must be able to multi-task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the hotel.
5. Must have a good knowledge of food/food industry and beverage industry.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Excellent people skills.
8. Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
9. Must be available for early starts and late finishes, midweek, weekends, and public holidays.
