Kids Inc operates 4 Creches and Preschool services in Dublin and hosts over 60 onsite Afterschool Care programs throughout the country.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out all day-to-day maintenance and repair duties within the properties
* Moving and maintenance of equipment and furniture as directed
* Undertaking and resolving maintenance problems to a basic level across all disciplines: bulb changing, plumbing, carpentry, tiling, mechanical and general labouring
* Proper and safely use of hand and power tools
* Ability to work in and around the public in a positive and professional manner
* Ability to adapt to priority changes of work flow or requirements
* Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
* Handyman repairs, Carpentry Work, Plumbing tasks. Overall facilities upkeep
* Ensuring the work area is a safe environment for staff and children
* Driving your own self-managed company van to jobs throughout Dublin by following a schedule
* Using email systems and submitting reports

Your profile and Qualifications
* Clean Garda Vetting
* At least 3 years experience in a construction/maintenance environment, and demonstrated experience of undertaking and resolving maintenance problems to a basic level across all disciplines: bulb changing, plumbing, carpentry, tiling, mechanical and general labouring
* Full Clean Category B Vehicle license no endorsements or penalty points (essential). Full D/D1 license (desirable).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work unsupervised and own initiative and with regular reports to Directors
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy working environment
