An exciting opportunity to join a global healthcare services and technology & innovation organisation as
Senior Director - Product Innovation.
You will be part of a new team build out for their Pharmacy Benefits Management Business Division, leading the development of new products and service solutions for their end healthcare clients and stakeholders, that deliver measurable value, growth, and differentiation in the marketplace.
About the Position
Reporting to the VP (Ireland) with a dotted line to the SVP, Strategy & Innovation (US), the Senior Director of Product Innovation will be responsible for generating and delivering a sustainable pipeline of new product opportunities. The role will drive idea generation, evaluation, and execution, partnering closely with business teams and senior leadership to meet annual targets and strengthen market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the search, evaluation, and prioritisation of new product opportunities.
* Facilitate innovation and focus sessions and brainstorming workshops across the business around product ideation.
* Develop and assess business cases, financial models, and scenarios for proposed products.
* Influence senior leaders in prioritising the highest-impact opportunities.
* Build strong cross-enterprise and client relationships to identify pilot opportunities.
* Monitor and track innovation pipeline value through dashboards and reporting.
* Support product progression through build and execution phases.
* Act as a thought leader on innovation, mentoring team members and sharing best practices.
Experience / Requirements
* Bachelor's degree with 7+ years' product and innovation experience.
* Minimum 3 years' healthcare / pharma supply chain, pharma wholesale providers or similar highly regulated industry experience.
* Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organisations.
* Strong track record of developing and presenting business cases to senior leadership.
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred
* Advanced degree (MBA/MHA) or equivalent experience.
* Product development experience in pharmacy and / or pharmacy benefits management ideally.
* Experience with healthcare startups, health plans, or employer clients.
* Strong knowledge of the end payer of services and product usage within the health services industry which in turn enable the product innovation team to add value and transferable benefit for their new product /services innovation pipelines.
