Site Engineer Job Description
The site engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out and conducting site measurements to ensure accurate placement of materials and equipment.
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documents to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
* Collaborating with foremen, operatives, and subcontractors to ensure clear understanding of project requirements.
* Coordinating traffic management on site to minimize disruptions and ensure safe working conditions.
* Conducting quality reviews and tests to ensure compliance with relevant specifications and regulations.
Requirements
To be successful as a site engineer, you will need:
* A third-level qualification in engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in setting out or working as a site engineer in previous roles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* A strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
