We are seeking a skilled Utilities Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of complex systems. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Responsibilities include managing boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, air handling units (AHUs), compressed air, steam systems, cooling towers, and water treatment systems to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
* The successful candidate will perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for utility-related issues, as well as implement and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
* Maintenance of accurate documentation, SOPs, and work permits for utility operations is also crucial.
* This role involves collaborating with various teams, including EHS, production, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure seamless facility operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering or a related field, along with relevant experience in black utilities engineering, facility maintenance, or industrial utilities within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of boilers, chillers, steam systems, HVAC, compressed air, and water treatment is essential.
* A thorough understanding of BMS, CMMS, and energy management principles is also required.
