We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining complex equipment such as CNC Laser or Punching machines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to provide exceptional customer service.
About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will travel to customer sites throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland to install, service, and maintain equipment. You will work closely with colleagues to build up knowledge of machines sold by our company and strive for a competent and professional response to customer service demands.
Key responsibilities include:
* Installing, servicing, and maintaining complex equipment such as CNC Laser or Punching machines.
* Traveling to customer sites throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.
* Working closely with colleagues to build up knowledge of machines sold by our company.
* Providing exceptional customer service and responding to customer queries in a timely manner.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A strong technical background, preferably in electronics or mechanical engineering.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A keen interest in learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
* Flexibility to travel during the year to customer sites in Ireland and occasionally for training at OEM suppliers.
