Set up under the auspices of the Good Friday Agreement, Tourism Ireland plays an important role as a North South body for a key industry on the island of Ireland, serving both Northern Ireland and Ireland.RoleWe are looking for an Industry Engagement Executive to strengthen partnerships with tourism businesses across the island of Ireland. The goal is to help these businesses grow their international tourism revenue by leveraging promotional opportunities through consumer, trade, publicity, and digital channels. This role will support tourism businesses to make the most of opportunities offered through Tourism Ireland's platforms – such as international events, social media campaigns and publicity initiatives – to grow their reach and increase international revenue.Note:This role will involve domestic and international travel and the occasional need to work unsocial hours including evenings and weekends.Key Results AreaPartner EngagementManage relationships with tourism businesses across Ireland, ensuring they understand the promotional opportunities available through Tourism Ireland's platforms.In conjunction with our partners Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Ireland, proactively Identify new tourism businesses, particularly in regional areas, that are ready to participate in international B2B events.Collaborate with Tourism Ireland colleagues based in our central and international markets to share best practices and upload opportunities to our industry opportunities website.Promotional OffersSecure special, unique offers from tourism businesses and liaise with our supplier, Modsquad, to ensure these offers are published on Develop and establish a framework to track and report on the performance of these offers. Measure effectiveness of all offers using data to recommend improvements.Content DevelopmentHelp industry partners to share their stories internationally by sourcing compelling content aligned with our editorial calendar. Support industry partners to amplify their stories through Tourism Ireland's international digital and publicity channels.Develop and share toolkits for global campaigns and events to support industry partners' own marketing efforts.Develop and distribute island of Ireland industry news and stories with Tourism Ireland colleagues.Industry CommunicationsDevelop and deliver an effective industry communications programme to deliver regular industry product updates to all Tourism Ireland colleagues.Work with our Trade Platforms Executive to ensure relevant content is available on Tourism Ireland's Trade Website.Industry Market Access InitiativesCommunicate and implement support programmes that help tourism businesses throughout the island to grow their international reach.Support new industry to join Tourism Ireland's B2B events through available funding programmes.Other ResponsibilitiesUpload and maintain accurate island of Ireland industry data on Tourism Ireland's Customer Relationship Management system.Build strong relationships with island of Ireland industry, and other key stakeholders including Fáilte Ireland and, Tourism Northern Ireland, to achieve shared objectives.Manage allocated budgets in line with Tourism Ireland's Finance policies and procedures.Represent Tourism Ireland at various industry and corporate events as required.The PersonThe successful candidate will possess the following experience, knowledge and skills, competencies, and qualifications:Essential3+ years' experience in marketing, partnership management, or a related field, preferably within the tourism, travel, or hospitality industry.Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders.Clear understanding of Tourism Ireland's strategic priorities and objectives.High attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.Excellent collaboration skills, with an ability to work with multiple teams to achieve shared objectives.Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve partner issues efficiently and effectively.A self-starter with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a busy, ever-changing environment.Strong knowledge of the island of Ireland and its tourism industry.All employees/candidates are expected to be able to show evidence of demonstrating Tourism Ireland's values in practice.RespectCollaborationOwnershipCreativityTourism Ireland is an equal opportunity employer.
