The IHOP Restaurant Manager reports directly to the General Manager and supervises restaurant employees. The primary responsibilities include managing front and back of house operations with a focus on profitability and sales growth, while maintaining IHOP's standards of quality and service.
Responsibilities Include
1. Executing financial, marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives according to IHOP SOP and the restaurant's operations plan.
2. Developing professional relationships with employees and franchisee organization.
3. Managing the restaurant floor and engaging with guests regularly.
4. Handling guest complaints professionally and promptly.
5. Ensuring compliance with SOP in recruitment, training, operations, food safety, sanitation, and security.
6. Supervisory duties including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, rewards, discipline, and conflict resolution.
7. Completing reports and paperwork accurately and timely.
8. Maintaining personnel files with employment and legal documents.
9. Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent experience.
* Ability to speak, read English, and interpret documents related to safety, operations, and procedures.
* Basic computer skills including Email, MS Excel, MS Word are a plus.
