Graduate Accessibility Consultant Job in Dublin
Join a specialist accessibility team within an award-winning fire consultancy in Dublin. Your role will involve supporting the delivery of Disability Access Certificates, access strategies, and inclusive design solutions across various building types.
Offering a salary of €32,000 - €38,000, plus hybrid working, private healthcare, 23 days annual leave, and a structured graduate training programme.
This consultancy provides innovative design solutions, compliance services, and strategic advice to clients across the UK, Ireland, and internationally. They collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and design teams to embed accessibility, safety, and inclusivity into projects from concept to completion. Known for their collaborative approach and technical expertise, they deliver projects across residential, commercial, and specialist sectors. The position is based in Dublin.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Assist with Disability Access Certificate (DAC) applications, access audits, technical design reviews, and BCAR certification processes.
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and design teams to integrate accessibility features throughout project stages.
3. Support the development of inclusive design strategies for various building types.
4. Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, including Technical Guidance Document M, and relevant international standards.
5. Participate in site inspections and contribute to construction phase reviews.
6. Work closely with fire safety, façade, and certifier teams to ensure coordinated project delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
1. Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a Construction-related discipline.
2. Interest in accessibility, inclusive design, and building regulations.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
5. Local knowledge of Dublin's construction industry (preferred).
6. SafePass certification (or willingness to obtain).
7. No visa sponsorship available.
