Global Consultancy based in Dublin is looking to hire a number of junior Java Developers on a long-term contract basis.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of commercial experience.
Long-Term Contract
Daily Rate
Hybrid (1-2 days per week in Dublin office)
Role Description
Reporting to team leads and management.
Debugging to identify the root cause of issues.
Identifying fixes and raising SIRs.
Analysing outputs.
Monitoring Live Systems.
Reporting to team leads and management.
Coding enhancements or bug fixes as required.
Unit testing of code, and integration testing where appropriate.
Ensuring code is peer reviewed.
Providing system test support when code is migrated to System Test (including SIR resolution).
Develop familiarity with processes in the overall domain of the team's area of work.
Skills & Experience
Strong Java development experience
Spring framework
SQL & database interaction
UNIX / Linux environment
Experience working as part of a team
Experience working in standards driven environments.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving.
