Senior Cost Consultant - Dublin
The role – what is it we would like you to do?
Currie & Brown is currently looking for a cost consultant for our Dublin office. The successful candidate will support our directors in generating a high standard of service delivery on a wide range of private and public sector projects, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.
Your core duties will involve:
Providing accurate cost advice and reporting to our clients and undertaking commercial management services with limited supervision
Assisting Director delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments and Providing support to the project director in cost management of projects
Assuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team playerYou will encourage effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
Always representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
What skills and attributes are we looking for from you
BSc in quantity surveying or equivalent
Membership of the Society of Chartered Surveyors (SCSI)
Technical delivery experience
Experience of Public Sector Procurement in Ireland
Pre - and post-contract experience using PW-CF1 & 5
Experience of project cost control, including management & negotiation claims
A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
CostX experience preferred, but not essential
Driving Licence
Ability to pass Garda Vetting and Security Clearance proceduresAbout The Company
