Job Role:
Professional Career Facilitator
We are seeking a part-time Professional Career Facilitator to work with clients with various conditions, including Learning Disability/Autism/Mental Health/Physical or Sensory Disability.
The role involves career facilitation and supporting clients into the workplace and/or education through interventions.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client group and make a significant contribution to their lives and wellbeing.
Main Responsibilities:
* Encourage and enable students/service users in identifying their learning, social, emotional, cognitive needs to prepare for Individual Action Plan (IAP) or Person Centred Planning meetings.
* Provide regular supervision and training to professionals to ensure evidence-based interventions and support.
* Design and deliver training on education, rehabilitation, disability management, and other relevant areas.
* Liaise with stakeholders, including families, professionals, and external agencies, and engage in crisis management as required.
Requirements:
* Recognised professional qualification in Psychology to Master or Doctorate level.
* Chartered membership (or eligible for) with the Psychological Society of Ireland or Chartered membership (or eligible for) of the British Psychological Society.
* At least 3 years work experience in Learning Disability/Autism/Mental Health/Physical or Sensory Disability.
* Understanding of the Recovery Approach and Person Centred Planning would be an advantage.
