Financial Role Overview
This role is ideal for a detail-focused individual with a strong understanding of financial principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the job.
The key responsibilities include:
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts, which involves reviewing and analyzing financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
2. Assisting with the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
3. Reviewing and analyzing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
4. Providing support with quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
5. Preparing cash flow reports and forecasts, as well as ensuring that all VAT and statutory returns are prepared in line with requirements.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
* A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Strong IT skills, with advanced Excel knowledge.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
