Sales Executive (Agri & Commercial Insurance)
Location: Naas, Co. Kildare - Hybrid (field based with one office day per week)
Salary: Attractive Salary + Uncapped Bonus
Please note: Only candidates who hold the CIP qualification will be considered for this role. Candidates must also have full legal authorisation to work in Ireland, as visa sponsorship is not available.
This is an opportunity to join a long-established and highly respected insurance organisation with a strong presence in the Agri and Commercial market. Based out of the Naas area, this role offers a high degree of autonomy, a varied client base, and the chance to build long-term relationships with farming and commercial customers across Kildare and surrounding areas.
This position will suit someone who enjoys being out on the road, meeting clients face to face, and developing business through trust, expertise, and strong local knowledge.
The Role
* Achieve and exceed individual sales targets across Agri and Commercial insurance, covering both new business and renewals
* Manage and grow a personal portfolio through proactive account management and business development
* Spend the majority of time meeting clients on site, including farms, outbuildings, machinery and commercial premises
* Develop strong external relationships and represent the business at local meetings, events and industry engagements
* Work closely with internal colleagues and financial advisory partners to deliver a high-quality, joined-up customer service
* Maintain a strong understanding of products, compliance standards and regulatory requirements
* Operate in line with internal processes, technology and quality standards
* Manage your own diary with a high level of independence while escalating key decisions or risks when required
* Ensure all customer interactions are completed in a fair, compliant and professional manner
What We Are Looking For
* CIP qualified
* 3+ years' experience in insurance sales, ideally within Agri and or Commercial lines
* Strong understanding of farming and agricultural business
* Proven ability to generate new business and retain existing clients
* Excellent relationship-building, communication and influencing skills
* Comfortable working independently in a standalone sales role
* Full clean driving licence
* Strong IT skills including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
