Compensation Specialist Position Summary
About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in high-volume payroll processing, particularly in production or manufacturing settings. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of employee salaries, benefits, and deductions.
Key Responsibilities
* Accountability for Sage / Sage Micropay Payroll functionality, encompassing weekly and monthly employees.
* Provide comprehensive support to supervisors and employees regarding payroll-related queries.
* Maintain daily oversight and updates of the in-house time and attendance system linked to Sage Micropay Payroll.
* Register new employees onto the Time Management system and generate relevant reports for the shop floor.
* Facilitate employee payments and expenses through online banking software.
* Prepare letters for PPS numbers, bank applications, mortgage requests, and other ad-hoc employee requirements.
* Perform general administration duties pertinent to the role.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, the successful candidate must have a minimum of one year's experience in a similar capacity. Familiarity with administering high-volume weekly payrolls is also required.
