Our client, a leading construction civil engineering company are looking for an experienced Civil Site Foreman to their team in Dublin. Currently the client is working on multiple sites and requires the right candidate to be flexible. The company in question are a medium sized civils contractor who have built a strong reputation and a growing business throughout the country with 25 years experience in the Irish market working on roads, airports, ports, drainage, and public realm projects.
Responsibilities:
6. Liaising with the PM, Design Team & Client
7. Managing Subcontractors, engineering and operational staff and personnel on site and
8. Supporting the Project Manager in delivering the project on time and within budget
9. Managing and implementing the Safety Management System
10. The management of all construction activities
11. Plan programme works
12. Dealing with Local Authorities and Consulting Engineers
13. Dealing with Quality Control and Safety on Site
Requirements:
14. Minimum 5 years' site management experience
15. Relevant 3rd level Degree would be advantageous
16. Previous main contracting experience would be beneficial
17. IT literate – emails, reports, management systems
18. Computer literate in Microsoft Office Package
19. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills
20. Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness
21. Must be flexible and open to travel
