****** Details of Service: The Public Health Nursing service provides in partnership with key stake-holders high quality, value driven, evidence based primary, secondary and tertiary care to individuals, families and communities across the life span in the geographical remit of the Integrated Health Area of Dublin North City and West.
We do this by utilising knowledge from Nursing, Social & Public Health sciences.
Our aim is to enable people live healthy and more fulfilled lives.
The person appointed to this post will be expected to actively participate in current and future developments within the service.
The team structure consists of the Director of Public Health Nursing, Assistant Director of Public Health Nursing, Public Health Nurses, Community Registered General Nurses, Health Care Assistants and RGNs working in the Community Intervention Team.
There are a number of specialist Nursing posts within the Department such as Schools Nurses, Older Persons Team and Home Care Package Case Managers.
