Summary of Role: To support construction and site operations by carrying out general labouring duties, maintaining site cleanliness, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring health and safety standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities
* Install precast concrete units on site, including flooring, walls, stairs, beams, and bespoke elements.
* Assist in unloading, positioning, and fixing units using cranes and lifting equipment.
* Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and lifting crews to ensure safe, accurate installation.
* Follow all site safety procedures and company installation standards.
* Carry out basic setting out, alignment, and levelling using tools and laser equipment.
* Perform manual handling and general construction site tasks as needed.
* Operate hand tools and basic machinery as required.
* Ensure safe use and storage of tools and equipment.
* Ensure all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
* Travel to and from various job sites as required (overnight stays may occasionally be necessary).
* Assist with temporary fencing, signage, and site security setups.
* Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the site supervisor immediately.
* Undertake any other tasks required to successfully carry out this function within the Company.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience
* Previous site experience in construction or precast concrete installation.
* Safe Pass (mandatory for working on Irish construction sites).
* Manual Handling certificate (current and in‑date).
* Comfortable working at height and in all weather conditions.
* Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
* Willingness to travel and work as part of a team.
* Punctual, reliable, and safety conscious.
* MEWP, telehandler, or forklift tickets advantageous.
* Knowledge of lifting plans and use of chains, lifting clutches, and other equipment.
* First Aid or Working at Height certification advantageous.
* Full driving licence.
* Good communication skills.
* Forklift or Telehandler licence advantageous.
* Valid Visa to work in the EU.
