Projects are carried out all over the UK and Ireland supported from their offices in Kerry and Liverpool.This position offers a clear long-term progression pathway, with the successful Project Manager expected to transition into a Managing Director/CEO role within the coming years.Work location for site and office-based Project Manager:Work will be split between office-based work winning, planning and design followed by site based management during the project delivery stage.It is envisaged there will be approximately a 50/50 split between site and office-based work.A salary uplift will be applied when working from site.Office based work will be either from the Irish or UK offices with flexible remote working also an option.Main duties and responsibilities:Office based work winning, planning and design prior to delivery of the project.Oversee the day-to-day site operations with the support of the works manager and Engineering team.Management of the project to ensure the projects are delivered safely and on time.Subcontractor and supply chain management including contract management and procurement.Ensuring compliance with our clients health and safety, quality and environmental procedures.Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.Reporting to senior management team with monthly QHSE, programme and commercial KPIsQualifications and experienceDegree in Civil Engineering, construction management.Marine Civil Engineering experience is an advantage but not essential.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering project management, with experience in marine civil engineering projects preferred.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.Proficient in project management software and tools.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.UK / EU Passport and or work visa for EU and UK.What's on OfferExcellent salary and benefits package.Flexible working locations and hours.Join an expanding company at an early stage with plenty of opportunity for promotion and career progression.
