Glazing Spares and Repairs is seeking a reliable and motivated Glazier / Window Repair Technician / Surveyor to join our team. We work with both domestic and commercial customers, providing high-quality repairs, glazing work, and onsite surveying.
This role is ideal for someone with some experience in glazing or window/door repairs, or a technician who wants to grow into a skilled position. Experienced applicants are also welcome and will be placed at the higher end of the salary range.
All positions include a 6-month trial / probationary period, during which training and performance support are provided.
Responsibilities
* Survey, measure, and assess window and door jobs accurately
* Fit and replace double-glazed units (DGUs), single panes, and safety glass
* Carry out repairs to hinges, handles, locks, rollers, letterboxes, and other hardware
* Adjust windows and doors for correct alignment
* Diagnose issues and recommend suitable solutions
* Communicate required parts to the office for ordering
* Complete work safely and to a high standard
* Deliver friendly, professional customer service on every job
Requirements
* Some experience in glazing, window/door repairs, or a similar trade
* Strong measuring and problem-solving ability
* Ability to use hand tools and power tools confidently
* Full clean driving licence
* Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently
* Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience with PVC, aluminium, or timber window/door systems
* Familiarity with multi-point door locks and window hardware
* Safe Pass or similar certification
