Business Development Manager - Cable & Electronics Distributor (Ireland)
Salary: Up to €96,000 + Bonus + Company Car Allowance
Home-Based Role with Nationwide Travel Across Ireland
We are a leading distributor of high-quality cables, cable management solutions, and electronics for OEMs across various sectors. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and drive new business opportunities throughout Ireland. This is a home-based role, offering the flexibility to work remotely while traveling across Ireland to build and expand our business.
Key Responsibilities:
* New Business Acquisition: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the cable, cable management, and electronics sectors across Ireland.
* Relationship Building: Build and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with decision-makers in OEMs, end-users, and key industry stakeholders.
* Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets, driving growth and market share.
* Market Intelligence: Stay on top of industry trends and competitor activities to offer innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to ensure seamless delivery and support for customers.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the cable, electronics, or related industries.
* Strong understanding of OEM requirements and key market sectors (industrial, construction, IT, automotive, etc.).
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships and close deals effectively.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently from home, but also collaborate as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel nationwide across Ireland as needed.
