What you’ll do
As the SMB Account Executive for UK accounts, you are responsible for driving and developing opportunities within small to medium businesses across all industry verticals. You sell additional use cases, products, and services into existing accounts while engaging prospective customers, exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas, managing deals, forecast accuracy, and driving adoption in collaboration with internal teams and the Docusign partner ecosystem. This role reports to the Manager, SMB Sales.
Responsibilities
* Deliver programmatic engagement with existing Docusign clients to develop and maintain relationships while growing incremental revenue.
* Qualify sales opportunities based on Docusign’s sales methodology and metrics, including client fit and success criteria.
* Position Docusign's value proposition as part of the overall business solution.
* Expand the Docusign solution beyond implementation by presenting, recommending, and upselling new products and partner solutions.
* Process sales orders and facilitate customer onboarding.
* Manage customer needs for engagement with other Docusign resources, such as professional services, training, product management and marketing.
* Enlist customers to speak at Docusign and partner events.
* Provide accurate, timely reports and forecasts for management.
* Develop and maintain sophisticated knowledge of Docusign’s products and services.
* Maintain current and accurate account information in CRM.
* Serve as an internal advocate and escalation point to clients to manage overall customer loyalty.
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employees divide time between in‑office and remote work with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
Basic Qualifications
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
* Experience in an AE role or quota‑carrying role.
Preferred Qualifications
* Fluency in English.
* Experience in consultative sales and account management, preferably within a SaaS model.
* Proficient computer application skills, including Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
