About the team The EMEA Startup & SMB team is a highly consultative sales team that is responsible for the growth and retention of Stripe's largest and fastest growing Startup and SMB customers. What you'll do As a Sales Manager at Stripe, you'll play an instrumental role in fueling Stripe's growth in Europe through managing customer growth. You'll lead and coach high-performing account executives, helping them deliver on ambitious targets, as well as roll up your sleeves to work directly with users and prospects. Responsibilities Recruit, develop and lead a team of sales professionals, with a particular focus on the SMB segment in EuropeDevelop the long-term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales metricsBe accountable for growing existing businessDriving deal strategy and execution including strong pipeline development, opportunity management, and forecastingCoach and guide a team of growers in developing consultative and solution-based sales skills through all facets of the sales cyclePlay a personal and direct role in building and maintaining enduring customer relationships, up to C-levelInspire, motivate and enable personal and career development of team members, both to promote career growth and to increase impact for StripeCollaborating closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Product/Connect, Sales Ops, S&O, Marketing, GTM Partnerships, and othersParticipate in industry events to help support positive market awareness Minimum requirements 8+ years of relevant sales experienceExperience consistently forecasting and managing a high growth business for multiple quartersThrives in settings with a high level of autonomy to create strategy, direction, and structureAbility to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales teamAbility to build executive relationships with customers and ecosystem partnersAbility to understand and articulate technical concepts, and translate them into industry or business relevant termsFluency in German or French preferred Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams. The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €196,700 - €295,100. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and specific location.
