Job Description
SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER (DRUG PRODUCT EXTERNAL MANUFACTURING) required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Pharmaceutical client in Cork, initial 12 month contract on offer.
The SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER (DRUG PRODUCT EXTERNAL MANUFACTURING);
1. Will be responsible for the management and oversight of supply chains with external manufacturing partners.
2. Requires good knowledge of Supply Chain processes, in line with Operational Standards for Supply Chain Excellence.
3. Requires good knowledge and familiarisation with SAP system together with experience of GMP systems such as Trackwise and Veeva Quality Docs.
NOTE: No sponsorship is provided for this role so applicants need to already have Irish / EU citizenship OR the relevant Stamp / Visa in place.
Role of this position
4. Implement, maintain and improve Drug Product External Manufacturing business processes for the operation of supply chains with External Manufacturers, using appropriate processes and tools (e.g. SAP/APO)
5. Use DPEM OSSCE (Operational Standards for Supply Chain Excellence)processes and metrics to analyse supply chain performance, define root causes, drive improvement and maintain OSSCE A class performance.
6. Operate cross-functionally to identify issues and drive improvements.
7. Establish an effective working relationship with supply chain personnel in External Manufacturers to facilitate supply.
8. Operate as a project manager for the set-up of new supply chains or line extensions with existing External Manufacturers.
9. Establish an effective working relationship with supply chain personnel in each site that is supplied by DPEM
10. Act as business owner for specific OSSCE/Supply Chain business processes (e.g. S&OP, MPS, MRP)
11. Identify and lead Continuous Improvement projects as agreed with supervision.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
12. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
13. Minimum of 3 years operational or supply chain experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing supply chains
14. Experience in working across geographical boundaries with a good appreciation of cultural diversity.
15. Proficient in English to work effectively internally and with contacts in multiple countries.
