Electrical Design Manager
Location: Kildare. Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead the design function on a range of large-scale commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This is a leadership role offering the opportunity to manage multidisciplinary design teams while ensuring technical excellence and successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead electrical design activities from concept through construction.
Manage and mentor electrical engineers and design teams.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with Irish and international electrical standards.
Review and approve technical submissions, calculations, and drawings.
Support project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Significant experience in electrical design within construction, MEP, utilities, data centres, or industrial sectors.
Proven leadership and project management experience.
Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and electrical standards.
Chartered Engineer status desirable.
