Our client is seeking a dedicated IT Systems Administrator to manage and support IT operations across their Irish business. The role involves ensuring the reliability and security of IT systems, supporting employees with day-to-day technology needs, and aligning local IT practices with global company standards. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with global IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day IT operations for employees in Ireland.
* Maintain and configure user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
* Procure, set up, and deploy PCs, laptops, and mobile devices.
* Install, update, and manage software applications.
* Administer servers, network devices, and connected equipment.
* Provide timely end-user support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
* Support and maintain office IT hardware, including printers and video conferencing systems.
* Ensure data security and availability through backups and adherence to security best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Previous experience in IT systems administration, ideally supporting both users and infrastructure.
* Good understanding of core IT concepts such as networking, operating systems, and user account management.
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a wider IT function.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.

Pay: €40,000.00-€42,000.00 per year
